CIPA seeks out experts in many areas of law to bring top-quality information and education to members at regularly scheduled meetings, as well as at our Annual Legal Educational Seminar. 

CLE credit for paralegals who need it for their NALA certification is available at the regular meetings at at the Annual Legal Educational Seminar.  

CLE credit for attorneys is available at the Annual Legal Educational Seminar, typically up to 5 hours.

CIPA encourages its members to pursue leadership opportunities within the association, whether that means running for an officer role, chairing a committee, or participating as a committee member. Taking on a leadership or volunteer role not only helps keep CIPA a vibrant and active association, but can be a valuable enhancement to our members' careers.

It is no secret to any career person that hob-nobbing with other professionals is a great way to meet valuable contacts, and can enhance one's career. CIPA offers valuable opportunities for its members to network with legal professionals from other companies and firms, and in different areas of law, as well as educators and vendors.

CIPA members are informed of local job opportunities via e-mail and our job board. 

Many of CIPA's members participate in local volunteer opportunities, including Prairie State's semi-annual legal advice clinic.
