Data Privacy in a Virtual Meeting World – Record or Not to Record

Ed Tyrrell is Corporate Counsel, Data Privacy at Caterpillar. Ed focuses his practice on identifying and implementing business-minded data privacy solutions and joined Caterpillar in September, 2020.  Before joining Caterpillar, Ed was Corporate Counsel and Data Protection Officer for a healthcare technology company in Chicago, Illinois. Ed holds a J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) designation through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
